The MWR High Efficient Airfilter , for road and racebikes .The goal for the revolutionairy design is to reduce the inlet noise and yet more power delivery . This design has shown a reduction of up to 8db compared to the other sportsbikesfilters .
Unlike all other sportsfilters the “HE’ filter creates a much better , equal airflow over all cylinders , means you need to adapt fueling of all cylinders seperatly to achieve maximum effect of the “HE” filter . Concerns all twins , V-twins , three , four , and V4 engines.
Remapping the ECU or Fuel Control Module is recommended
The difference between our street bike and trackbike filters!
The foam material of our racing filters has a much more open structure compared to the foam material of the road filters, resulting in a much shorter maintenance duration. The protection is at the same level as our racing bike filters, but for a shorter period; consequently, maintenance is much shorter but less intensive.
The maintenance frequency for racing track filters is after every two race weekends. Our performance filters for track bikes have a recommended maintenance frequency of once a year… regardless of mileage.
Even if you have ridden 50 km that year, adhere to the guidelines. The priority for the filter is that the foam does not dry out; keep it “wet” with oil. In countries around the equator with high temperatures, the frequency must be reduced to twice a year. The racing bike filter can maintain the normal maintenance frequency.
Only MWR Biodegradable filter oil and Biodegradable filter cleaner may be used to protect the filter against backflow as well. MWR Full Race Airfilter, developed on the track, NOT on a dyno but in real life, bikes with Dataloggers for ultimate performance through new materials and design, protection is at the same level as the filters above, only for a shorter time.
Unlike any other sport filter, all intakes receive the same amount of air with this Racing Airfilter, regardless of engine speed, wind direction, or fairing turbulence. No different fuel allocations between internal and external or front and rear cylinders are required; this is achieved by tuning each cylinder individually.
It makes the bike stronger yet smoother, saving tires and fuel.
Note: The MWR Race Airfilter provides 100% protection, but only for a short period. Check your filter after every race weekend and use only MWR filter oil & cleaner. Ensure you start every race weekend with a well-oiled filter.
This air filter is not designed to reduce intake noise. Reassigning the ECU or the Fuel Control Module is highly recommended.
